The Board of Directors has two main roles: defining the long-term strategy and checking that operations are carried out in line with the strategy. It also prepares the general assemblies.
The Executive Committee determines the tactical operations of the group and is in charge of their operational coordination.
The Management Committee examines the indicators of each department and proposes actions for all discrepancies in relation to the company roadmap.
After a short period in the marketing department of a national IT services company, Frederic Lasnier founded Pentalog in 1993 together with four colleagues, academics like himself. During a period of economic stagnation (in 1995) Frederic was encouraged to guide the company to markets in which offers were scarce or lacking altogether: client-server, micro - UNIX and the internet. Here, everything could be done and the offer was so rare that even a small organization could find its place.
In 1995, he decided to open permanently the capital of Pentalog to the participation of his employees. This participation has now reached 56%. It was a political vision that he shared with the founding members. Starting from 1997, Pentalog searched for their first services outside of France. The percentage of foreign activities subsequently reached 60% in 2006.
In 1999, as part of a large software project (10 000 man-days in J2EE), he made his first trip to Romania and laid the foundation for the Pentalog policy of European "low cost".
In 2005, he initiated the creation of BPO services (Business Process Outsourcing) and implemented the New Pentalog Business Model.
In 2006, with the help of Ausy, one of the 5 most important players in the French market of outsourced R&D services, he created Pentalog Technology, a venture by Ausy and Pentalog, co-owned equally by the two partners. The Joint Venture aims to provide low cost but high quality R&D services to global players. Frédéric Lasnier took operational control of this alliance.
In 2008, Pentalog Deutschland, the German subsidiary of the group was created. In 2009, Frederic founded Pentalog Vietnam. In all these areas, the management is provided from Orleans and it is here that 70% of the consolidated value is held.

Deputy CEO
Monica has been Pentalog's Deputy CEO (Deputy Chief Executive Officer) since August 2011. She is in charge of operational management, including the management of production and production structures, financial and reporting management, administration and development of existing partnerships, supervision of the information systems, technical management and the incubator.
Previously, Monica held the position of Chief Operating Officer (May 2009-July 2011).
Monica joined Pentalog in 2003 as a Marketing trainee in Orléans. Several months later, the former Romanian student returned to Brasov as supervisor of the marketing operations of the group.
In 2004, Monica took over the management of the new Bucharest office and dealt particularly with the management of human resources (recruiting high-level consultants in particular) and the budget and with the development of the local market.
In 2007, she was entrusted with the commercial management of Eastern Europe and her responsibilities now included the marketing of Pentalog offshore activities in Europe. Gradually, Monica would manage all operational activities in Eastern Europe and coordinate the strategic development of offices in this region, by collaborating with local directors.
At the beginning of 2009, Monica went on a four-month trip to Hanoi (Vietnam) to assist in the implementation of operational processes in our first Asian office, coordinate the first recruitment activities and deploy our best practices within the local management and production processes.
Monica is a member of the Board of Directors and the Management Committee.

CIO - Infrastructures and R&D Vice President
The Infrastructure and R&D department includes all the technical aspects (involving the company and our customers), whether it is general costs or projects, day-to-day aspects or quality control. Mr. "Consistency" of the group, Aymeric defines the infrastructure and information system development strategy of the company.
After leading several international operations in Eastern Europe in particular, this former Blue Helmet continues to run a small part of operational activities for certain clients, as an architecture expert, responsible for studies or consultant in the choice of technologies.
A member of the Board of Directors, Aymeric is also a member of the Council of Presidents and the Management Committee.

CFO - Administrative and Financial Director
Virginie joined Pentalog as a trainee in March 1996 and she decided to stay. She has implemented all the tools and methods of financial, accounting, administrative and legal affairs of the company. She has very deep knowledge of all administration-related issues in the field of IT engineering and outsourcing services. She has been successfully managing Pentalog's accounting and administration team for many years.
Virginie takes part in all crucial projects linked to the international expansion of Pentalog. She led the creation of new Pentalog offices in Germany, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Vietnam and recently in Israel.

Quality Manager
Senior partner of Pentalog, a member of the Board of Directors and the Management Committee, Aleth is Pentalog's Quality and Organization Director. Based in Romania-Moldova since January 1st 2009, she shares her time between coaching project managers and internal department managers in implementing the quality system of the Group, controlling efficiency and upgrading the ISO repository to CMMI. Endowed with a strong sense of organization and a taste for detail, Aleth first worked within the graphics department of the company, rigorously and methodically conducting editing projects and electronic media for twelve years. At the end of 2005, she created the Pentalog BPO-editing department in the Republic of Moldova.
From September 2007, Aleth has been responsible for defining and implementing the Pentalog Quality Policy, leading to the ISO 9001:2008 certification of the group, in December 2008.

Sales Director
Senior partner of Pentalog and member of the Management Committee, Sophie is the Sales Director and coordinates the Business Lines: Information Systems (management and organization of information systems) and Embedded Systems (outsourcing the R&D activities of our customers).
She ensures the dialogue with consultants and project managers, as well as the monitoring of our commitments in carrying out our services, in coordination with project managers.

Chief Operating Officer
Manuel is a senior partner of Pentalog. In May 2011, he took over the coordination of all Pentalog production units (5 in Romania, 1 in the Republic of Moldova, and 1 in Vietnam). His tasks include supervising production management, recruiting and managing the human resources relating to production. He is the line supervisor of Delivery Center Mangers , he manages resource development according to the company's strategic plan.
Manuel joined Pentalog in 2002, after graduation, as secretary to Eric Gouin, Director of the Romanian subsidiary at the time and manager of the Brasov branch office. Becoming the Director of the branch office in 2005 and a significant partner, Manuel has never ceased to offer assistance, often outside the framework of his responsibilities, in order to help the structure develop. He was the first to go to Iasi to offer his support to the branch office manager, who was inexperienced at the time, in order to accelerate the development of this office. Then, he did the same thing for Sibiu and Cluj. Manuel is a member of Pentalog's Executive Committee.

Office Manager Brasov
With a 13-year experience in the IT field, after having gone through all professional stages, from developer to project manager and consultant, Mihai joined Pentalog in 2010 in order to manage a large development platform on behalf of a European leader dealing with online collaboration platforms of private label products. He has very quickly shown high adaptability, he has effortlessly integrated Pentalog's model and has obtained excellent results.
In October 2011, he was selected to take on the Brasov branch office management. In his new capacity, his duties include supervising the activity of the branch office, managing the budget, as well as recruiting new employees for this branch office.

Office Manager Bucarest
Petru joined Pentalog in May 2008 in order to participate in the management of a project consisting in setting up a new information system for an important bank in Ukraine. In January 2009, he was offered a new mission for Société Générale where he coordinated a Core Banking migration project.
In April 2010, he joined the Bucharest office and took part in an important recruiting campaign (50 people) for the new project which was entrusted to us by ST-Ericsson. In July 2010, he took over the management of the Bucharest office.

Office Manager Iasi
Cătălin was recruited by Pentalog in January 2007 in order to take over the administration of a very interesting testing project for the leader in Bluetooth communication equipment. Then he took charge of the management of this project involving more than 25 employees in the Brasov office.
In April 2010, he was chosen to succeed in the management of the Iasi office.
His tasks include the supervision of office activity, budget management and recruiting new employees for his office.

Office Manager Sibiu
Zoltán joined Pentalog in January 2007 and he too participated in the project which consisted in testing Bluetooth communication equipment for the European leader in Bluetooth technology. In March 2008, a new office was opened in Romania, in Sibiu. As it is entirely dedicated to embedded development, Zoltán decides to join it and rapidly becomes director of an important project for ST-Ericsson.
In 2010, he takes charge of the Sibiu office. His tasks include the supervision of office activity, budget management and recruiting new employees for his office.

Office Manager Cluj
Pierre started working for Pentalog in April 2006 as a trainee in Brasov, then as a Java developer in Bucharest. Later on, he became the manager of a project involving 35 people in Iasi for one of the world leaders in the telecom field. In July 2011, he was appointed in the position of office manager in Cluj.
His tasks include the supervision of office activity, budget management and recruiting new employees for his office.

Office Manager Chisinau
Serghei Goloborodico joined the offshore team in 2003 when Pentalog offered internships to two students from the Republic of Moldova.
A developer with excellent technical skills, Serghei rapidly became a project manager. Serghei completed several missions in France where he worked for customers as a developer, project manager and consultant.
In March 2005 Pentalog opened its office in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, and Serghei was appointed office manager. His tasks include the supervision of office activity, budget management and recruiting new employees for his office.

Office Manager Hanoi
Drawn by the policy and vision of the group, Marc joined Pentalog in June 2011 in order to take over the management of the Hanoi office. His responsibilities include the monitoring of office activities, budget management, as well as the recruitment of new employees in his office.
At the beginning of his career, he worked in Slovakia and then in France for major companies in the aeronautical industry. At the end of 2006, Marc decided to go to Vietnam where he worked as Technical Leader on Embedded Maintenance projects for planes like A320 or the Superjet 100. These 5 years of experience in Vietnam represented a genuine technical and intercultural challenge and enabled him to occupy management positions. Thanks to a meeting with Frédéric in 2010, he became acquainted with Pentalog.

Managing Director Pentalog Deutschland, Frankfurt
Mircea Popa used to work as a programmer and project manager for many years in big German companies before he created his own IT services company "Carpath Software" in Brasov in 2004. From his Frankfurt office, he managed the relationship between his customers based in the German-speaking area and his development teams based in Romania.
After four years of assiduous business development in Germany and Austria, he joined the Pentalog group and became the managing director of the Pentalog Deutschland subsidiary (Pentalog group), created in Frankfurt after Carpath Software was taken over by Pentalog Romania.
He is now in charge of finding new customers and ensure the continuity of already existing business relationships in the German-speaking area, as well as recruiting German-speaking consultants for the Frankfurt office and offshore-based development teams in Romania and Moldova.
His responsibilities also include the supervision of the business development activity in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the administrative management of the Frankfurt office and coordinating relations between customers and development teams.

Director of operations at Pentalog Israel, Lina Jackont coordinates all the Israeli customer projects (she has 11 years of experience in project management, of which 4 in the offshore sector). Lina boasts some of the most impressive achievements in the Israeli high tech industry, as she coordinated projects ranging from 30 to 120 man-years.

Responsible of the Embedded Systems Business Line
Mickaël joined Pentalog as a Network Administrator in February 1997 with the objective to acquire a broad view of computer science for helping and guiding users in order to meet their true needs. For eight years, he worked in production directly at customers' sites.
With his acquired experience, Mickaël progressively left production to become first a Project Manager, then Project Director and finally the Head of the Embedded Systems Business Line.
Mickaël is a hands-on and open person, with an acute sense of organization and priorities. Through his assistance and counseling he gives his clients and prospective clients the opportunity to focus calmly on their actual core business.
PierrePeutin
Responsible of the Information Systems Business Line
Pierre entered Pentalog as a developer exactly 11 years ago, in 1999. He has worked on web and client/server projects, on missions of medium and long duration in both France and Belgium. After several years as a developer, Pierre focused on Business Intelligence by participating in various reporting projects for customers like PSA Peugeot Citroën, Loxam or the ACTICALL group. Later, Pierre became Project Leader for specific application developments, managing teams of 1 to 7 people based in France and in the offshore centres of Pentalog. Pierre then naturally served as an offshore Project Director before taking on the responsibility of the Information Systems Business Line.
Pierre is currently responsible for writing business proposals, monitoring existing customers, controlling project commitments towards our customers and compliance with the Pentalog quality system procedures and verifying and optimizing the Business Line workloads.
