Offshore partnership strategy
Pentalog wants to establish two types of international partnerships, based on two different visions:
- Sales-oriented partnerships
Pentalog is one of the leading European companies in the field of IT outsourcing, offering customized solutions to SMEs as well as major companies throughout Europe, based on its offshore development centers in Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Vietnam.
The current international expansion strategy of the group includes the creation of new offices in countries where the company does not have business alliances yet. This Pentalog network is aimed at rapidly creating new business opportunities in partnership with local companies, thus turning Pentalog into a global IT provider.
The main advantage for our new associates will be the possibility to increase their market share in their own country by adding the offshore outsourcing resources of Pentalog to their own service portfolio, thus allowing them to gain new customers in other fields of activity.
- Production-oriented partnerships
With 12 years of experience in creating and managing offshore/nearshore outsourcing offices in Eastern Europe and Asia, Pentalog can help you create and manage your own offshore competence center.
We offer the companies which are interested in creating an offshore office in a low-cost country the possibility to benefit from the existing infrastructure of Pentalog (centers, technical infrastructure, management and recruitment capabilities) in Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Vietnam. Your overhead charges will be considerably reduced and your offshore office will immediately be ready to start production, thus rapidly creating a new source of revenue for your company.

Partnership Success Stories
Pentalog Ausy is a joint venture created by the AUSY Group (IT services company specialized in embedded development) and Pentalog. The headquarters of Pentalog Ausy is in Brasov, Romania. For AUSY, the creation of this joint venture materializes the offshore offer of the Group which meets the demand of its major clients in the industrial and tertiary sectors.
Creation: end of 2006

Clients: ST-Ericsson and the European leader in Bluetooth technology
Services provided: software testing and development in the embedded field
Pentalog Deutschland GmbH was created following the absorption of a small Romanian company which mainly offered low-cost software development services in Germany and in the entire German-speaking area.
Creation: March 2008
Sales figure in 2010: 2.2 M€
Workforce in 2009: 3 employees (30 people involved)
Clients: Dionex Softron GmbH, Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Bayerns, LHS, Austrian Press Agency etc.
