BUILD AND RUN

Cloud Software Factory is a platform entirely administered in the cloud which allows you to manage your IT development project starting from the development phase to the release of the tool to the users.

With the Cloud Software Factory offer released by Pentalog, all your IT production is entirely managed in the Cloud in compliance with the following four requirements:

• Security : all accesses to the platform are made through VPN links.
• Confidentiality : your data and services are isolated in a private cloud which is completely secure. We favor the instantiation of an application for each client instead of sharing the same multiclient instance in order to enhance the confidentiality of your data and to protect you against any security failures that may arise.
• Efficiency : your platform is available 24/7 and can be accessed from any Internet access point. Is your developer unable to come to the office? No problem. With Cloud Software Factory, he can connect from home and work as if in your premises.
• Scalability : If your application being produced or your development platform are faced with an activity peak, we absorb the exceeding load by automatically increasing the capacities of your resources without any blockage. An alert is sent to your in order to inform you about the situation and to enable you to make the necessary adjustments quickly.

YOUR PLATFORM

4 phases are enough for your project:
Through a web interface, the first phase consists in implementing the back office of the development platform, namely all tools allowing to store the project sources, to compile and control the code and manage the indicators and planning. There are two ways of implementing this platform consisting either in creating it from scratch by installing the tools needed for the project, or in using a template one available on the platform (Java, .net, PHP etc.).

As soon as the development platform is configured and instantiated, it is possible to connect in a secure mode from any place where an internet coverage is available, through the VPN connection supplied by Pentalog. This platform can also be shared by Pentalog development team from any of our delivery centers.

As a standard, the development platforms provide all tools allowing to manage the quality and to follow the software production: source server, continuous integration, code control tools, time management tools, anomaly management tool, planning management tool and project reporting tools etc.

And there is so much more. Cloud Software Factory also allows to manage development stations in the cloud. After having created a standard virtual development station, or after having chosen it from our templates, it is enough to define a list of developers with the right of instantiating one of these stations. Once the developer is connected to the platform, a new machine resulted from the duplication of the template station shall be available in DaaS (Desktop as a Service) mode and in a few minutes he shall be in the saddle, wherever the connection is made from : from the office, but also from a client's site, from home or from a public place providing there is Internet access and an operational VPN connection.

Once the developments are finished and the software validated, you can transfer it with a few clicks on the production platform to be accessible for all your users. The production platform itself is an environment adapting to the needs of your application in terms of resources in very high availability and security context.
