SCSC : Pentalog Opens the Second Office in Romania.
After Brasov (300 000 inhabitants close to the Carpathians), Pentalog opens another office in Bucharest (Romanian capital - 3 000 000 inhabitants).
An auxiliary of the first unit offshore, this office has five key objectives:
1. To provide techical solutions and services for the Romanian market, 2. To increase the production capacity of the offshore projects, 3. To have at its disposal a reception office close to the airport, for the spot projects or for the ones that require the client's presence, 4. To have at its disposal an equipped center with multiple and redundant providers for long-distance services, including a high-degree availability (tele-administration, tele-infomanagement, tele-production...), 5. To provide a pole of functional expertise, both internal and in partnership.
To sum up, Pentalog High Tech has now three French agencies, two cost axis and two infrastructure axis, in order to offer its clients the most suitable solutions for their needs.
Let us recall that in 2004 Pentalog High Tech will double its Romanian turnover, which will represent 30% of the Group global turnover.
By the end of March, Pentalog expects a quarterly increase of its CA of about 16%, comparatively to the first quarter of 2003. This percentage of annual growth is accompanied by a sequential percentage of growth (between T104 and T403) of 9%.
This increase, if continuous, will be far greater than our expectations (+2,5 predicted for 2004) and not the same as our objectives. Nevertheless, it confirms the healthy paths chosen by the company.
The figures revealed a 4,5% increase in the activity of the French agencies, while the growth of the Business Unit Offshore (Romania) is established at about 29%, contributing greatly to the global growth.
The company starts to gain revenues from its CRM Center offer, which enables the clients to benefit from the applications of the iNet range in ASP mode, to rely on the services of his web designers on the offshore website, to track the visites on the website in relation to the commercial databases of the company, on the call-back services connected to the clients' visites on the website, on the database management. This offer is supported by foreign investments, which make it highly competitive.
Among the new clients, we mention the arrival of Sud Ouest Group, for which Pentalog High Tech develops a software for the administration of rotary printing activities. Pentalog also strengthens its position with many clients like Cogestib, SNT Vitalicom, Loxam - which are fast-growing clients.
Pentalog High Tech has also signed a Silver partnership contract with Business Objects (world leader in the Business Intelligence software industry). As a result, Pentalog High Tech becomes the only BO partner in Region Centre and the second in Aquitaine.
This contract extends the commercial capabilities of Pentalog on this activity branch and brings to strength the long-time service relationships developed with France Telecom, Orange, Vivendi Telecom International, Vitalicom (groupe SNT)... Pentalog, now able to resell the products of the editing leader, has a global capacity in terms of providing solutions in the Decision Making area.
Together with Oracle and Microsoft, this contract enriches the list of strategical technologic partners of the company.
The SCSC established in Orléans, Bordeaux, Paris and in Romania reveals its CRM Center offer.
This offer of CRM services, located between Brasov (Romania) and Paris for the Data Center includes :
- The selling of commercial information (thousands of qualified contacts, including e-mail addresses) - The capturing of commercial data - The exchange of commercial information - The unified management of the commercial data - The conception of operational marketing operations - The sending of e-mailing operations - Behaviour tracking services suitable for the e-mailing operations - The supplying of software solutions for extranet portals - The updating of websites - The systematic recall of the most active Web users
Technically, this offer is based on the CRM tools of the iNet range (www.inet.fr). Subscriptions in ASP mode can be proposed to the customers within the CRM Center offer framework. The Romanian localization of the human resources allows our customers, within a 100% French-speaking environment, to reduce considerably their commercial costs while developing continuous relations with their customers.
Through the CRM Center the customers of Pentalog High Tech avoid financing the acquisition of a CRM software line and enables the commercial personnel to concentrate upon the operations containing greater added value.
This offer has already convinced several customers who use it partially or entirely. Tariff of the services: from 150 to 2000€/month according to the nature and the volume of the services requested.
Business Objects Silver Partner : The first in Région Centre !
By signing of this contract, Pentalog High Tech becomes the first company from Région Centre to reach this level of partnership with the solutions editor from Business Intelligence. More information.
Pentalog High Tech has been a provider of BO services to its clients for over 7 years and claims numerous references on the subject: Kencell Communication Ltd (Group Vivendi from Kenya), France Telecom Branche Entreprises, Orange, Loxam, Vitalicom (Group SNT), but also Maroc Telecom in partenership with Steria. The consultants from Pentalog have also accompanied BO in the banking industries and in the business of musical editing.
Pentalog High Tech has nowadays global competences on the Business Objects range and is determined to convince the enterprises from the regions Centre and Aquitaine, as well as from Paris, to take advantage from the skills of its team, but also from the conditions of selling the licences, offered by this new statute. From today on, Pentalog High Tech opens its order book of BO licences with Vitalicom (Group SNT, from Blois), which realises in this period a BO test project to replace its ancient tools of decisional analysis. Pentalog High Tech has been a supplier of decisional analysis tools for Vitalicom-Group SNT since February 2003
The two companies, first based in Orléans and the latter in Tours, give an example in respect with the regional co-operation.
Cogestib, European leader in the the field of software for automobile distribution, has recently signed with Thales-IS a contract for the realization of the management system for a very important Japonese car manufacturer.
The development operations being localised in Barcelona, Cogestib has requested the international vocation of Pentalog High Tech.
Four J2EE developers thus took seat within a team which, on the long run, will largely exceed ten persons.
Other Spanish consultants from Pentalog High Tech could still join this team.
Pentalog takes part in DU European Management of the University of Orléans (equivalent of the MBA of New Orleans).
In June 2003, Frédéric Lasnier, Chairman of Pentalog was invited by the University of Orléans to teach a Project Management course, in English, intended for the foreign students or French professionals who already had university degrees.
This 24 hour module will approach the management of the change, the role of a project leader and a project sponsor, the management of competences, of time, of international resources and legal systems, of communication both intra and inter-project. The students will be also taught the crisis management.
This lecture will be accompanied, for each of the 4 to 6 hour meetings, of workshops on projects implying an European or international dimension. Each project will be led by a project manager. Let us emphasize that Frédéric Lasnier, like many Pentaloguiens, has been a graduate of the University of Orléans; where he is now a lecturer in Marketing Technologies.
Even if this year is not not yet ended, the 2003 figures show that the ambitious orientations of the past years were good ! This trend will be certainly confirmed in the next months.
Indeed, the scheme of a durable performance seems to be strongly funded:
- during the year 2003, our fees have recorded a 7% drop (the average is about 13% in EC). Our clients benefit of this movement. - the number of production days increased by 6% - the marketing and sales cost increased by 3% when turnover recorded 20% growth - constant number of consultancy people - salary growth
This performance has to be appreciated in an unknown IT crisis context (-8% for the IT sevices in the EC).
Our figures are strongly linked to the continuous improvement of our Offshore Business Unit (Romania) which contributes up to 30% to the net result. Its growth rate is expected to reach 100% for year 2004.
About Q4 , our growth is about 5% (in comparison with Q4 2002). Our activity has been continuously inforced by international markets (Belgium, Spain, Bulgaria).
The recorded sales for 2004 cover about 40% of the year and the breakeven point is secured for the next 6 months.
