Pentalog reporting a 55% growth in production for the first quarter

Pentalog's production for the first quarter will be 55% higher than in the first quarter of 2008, and 5 points ahead of forecast. The Hanoi office will not make a significant contribution before April. The growth is mainly due to the two newest offices in Romania: Iasi (opened in 2007) and Sibiu (opened in 2008).
It is mostly related to our clients in the telecom field. Our Embedded software production contract with ST-Ericsson has reached a level of approximately 40 engineers working full time. Pentalog Deutschland has signed a deal with LHS-Ericsson, number one on the global mobile phone invoicing market. A 27 member team will be in charge of this contract. Today, 11 engineers are already working full time in Romania.

In the consumer goods sector, Pentalog won a contract with one of the leaders in the tobacco industry. It will involve 40 engineers. This project will take place in Moldova and Vietnam.

In the travelling industry, Pentalog Technology, the joint-venture with the Ausy Group, has signed a contract with Karavel Promovacances. The project has just been started in Brasov, Romania.

100% of our clients using dedicated teams have renewed their deals with Pentalog. Some have even increased the requested amount of services. In order to meet their needs, Pentalog will have to recruit 80 people in Romania, Moldova and in Vietnam, before the end of June 2009.
