An international and polyglot IT company.

Aleth is French but she speaks Spanish, as well as Dan who is Romanian. Serghei is Moldavian and Russian is his mother tongue. But because of his Ukrainian nationality, he is also fluent in Ukrainian. Romanian is the official language of his country. Like Pierre, who is French, he also speaks German.

Actually Pentalog High Tech only recruits English speaking personnel in its agencies.

English excepted, the consultants of the company are fluent in the languages of one billion people on our planet.

This multi cultural strategy explains why Pentalog High Tech has been involved in so many missions in Kenya, Morocco, Bulgaria, Romania, Belgium, United States, Spain...

Exhaustive list of languages spoken in the company:
1. French-English
2. Romanian
3. Spanish
4. German
5. Russian-Japanese
6. Hungarian-Ukrainian

Pentalog High Tech realized the GCL site.

This important cabinet of Audit and Counsel from Bordeaux (more than 80 collaborators divided in several cities of south-west, in Paris and Lyon) entrusted to Pentalog High Tech the realization of its Internet interface.

There are several reasons for justifying this choice. The understanding of the problems related to the intellectual service was one of the major assets of Pentalog High Tech.

The site was created on two axes: a logic corporate and a logic profession which provide to the visitors decisive information which the latter need. The corporate site is accompanied by three satellite sites (one for each profession).

This realization places the GCL Group (www.gcl.tm.fr) at the highest level of innovation in the domain.

The technological choices went towards the tools of creation, administration and research, mark The Port, developed and commercialized by Pentalog iNet.

Let us remind here that iNet is the Pentalog Inet's Business Unit for the creation of software applications.

Linux, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, PhP, MySQL : Pentalog reviews free software.

In the last two years, Pentalog High Tech has implemented for 12 of its clients technologies issued from the free software world.
From OS Linux Serveur, which is a reference, to relational databases, by Java application servers and PhP language, Pentalog High Tech has acquired an important experience in the freeware.
Free access doesn't mean amateurism. The maturity of this tools meets three of our clients' major requests, in the SME business area, as well for big accounts.

1. Diminish costs and loosen projects

In numerous cases, especially for SME, the entry ticket, represented by performing web architecture, blocks the projects' development.
The fact that clients will not pay the licenses' costs, intrinsic to any application, having an uncertain return on investment, turns out to be determinant.
We shall quote Clementz' example (European leader of physical inventory, 20 employees in Orleans and Paris ), which was able to set up its ASP software professional solution, in PhP / MySQL on Linux / Apache.
Let us add Rassinoux SA (80 employees in Eure and Loire) and Dolia (8 employees, Bordeaux) which are offering to their clients leading CRM services based on controlled costs, on Java applications servers (Tomcat - JBoss).
None of those SME would have previously have undergone/passed the gap of the decision to invest without free software.

2. Independence and balancing for the IT policy

For many clients, specially the large companies, the period "all IBM", or "All Microsoft" was very difficult. By their maturity, free software represent today an interesting alternative for all IT managers, who will be able in this way to reduce costs, without taking position too early for one of the major actors of the market (IBM Websphere, BEA WebLogic, Microsoft .NET).
That case concerns our clients AFNOR, Cerib, Sipcam, Orléans City Hall.

3. Preparing future projects in a cheaper way

Today, the choice of an OS for a web server is naturally directed toward Unix. (Linux, or other editors present on the market). But, choosing an application server is more difficult, due to the high cost generated while the processing and security needs are increasing.
Choosing free software enables companies to structure their needs, to build prototypes, to start and to convey later the platform towards a leader editor on the market, knowing that compatibility with marketed software is entirely ensured, of course by Java technology.

By its high reliability, minimal owning costs (but real, because we always need competences), free software architecture represents an effective answer to all needs in computer system security (less concerned by viral attacks).
IBM Websphere and BEA WebLogic represent effective answers to clients' expectations while increasing performance needs, they keep also the same heredity with Tomcat and JBoss.
Nevertheless, Microsoft chooses to evolve in another world.
Now, a well informed IT manager has to integrate this option and to collaborate with a service provider that will allow him to save money without wasting time (well known approach in the free software world).

Pentalog High Tech's results for the first quarter.

The first quarter 2003 has shown a progress of 7.6% of our production, related to the forth quarter 2002, in the frame of the difficult context, which everybody knows.

Pentalog High Tech has especially reinforced its position on the software market as well as in the standardization's evaluation methodologies' domain.
Business relationships with Afnor and EOTC are continuing. Moreover a very important contract had been signed.
The project's development will start in January (this event will be describe in a following official statement).
All our clients have confirmed their orders.
Pentalog High Tech's performance is due in majority to the new business such as SNT (European leader of call centers and CRM services).

Its offshore and software business units have also contributed to this performance, by becoming the services provider of numerous SME of Center, Aquitaine and Paris regions. Those SME find in this way viable solutions for developing a fast, high quality data treatment capacity, based on mastered costs.
Let us quote especially companies like GCL (accounting expertise, audit) in Bordeaux, or Clementz (physical inventory services solution's leader) in Orleans, companies able to face successfully a difficult economic context.

Pentalog is also providing services on the Romanian market. It has developed an intranet application for production follow up, for Marvic Company.

At last but not the least, Pentalog have generated 10 business leads on the Online show which took place on April 1-2-3, in Porte de Versaille.

International development in countries and regions of strong growth, seems crucial in order to insure the company's growth.
Pentalog High Tech will proceed besides to the recruitment of two developers in France and two in Romania, the second quarter 2003.

Orders' book is entirely full until 30'Th June, and around 2/3 till the end of July.
