After AFNOR, CERIB, EOTC, Bulgarian ministry of industry, ITCF, ANDRA confirms the position of the Pentalog-iNet Group as a recognized IT provider for the management of experimentations, calibration, metrology and conformity assessment.
This sector will represent 20 % of the global income of the company this year.

"This is a good performance regarding the very bad trend our sector" said Mr LASNIER, President of the company.
The forecasts for the end of the year will normally allow the company to reach its objectives for the year. The "help with decision making offer" always fits the attempts of the company in terms of cash generation.

Despite the discount movement on the average price, the company confirms its objectives of a 20 % growth for 2002 and to keep profitability.

This growth is mainly the result of our trade relationships with new clients (Lexmark, France Telecom, Vivendi Universal, French Sugar producer...).

Our strategies launched in 2001 turn out profitable, because they generate incomes substantially higher than traditional activities.
ERP, helping with decision-making and e-certification management investments are also developing (more information in our official statement about Afnor and Bulgaria). Recently, UNIX services have been integrated in the Pentalog High Tech's offer.

The second quarter should pursue this trend. In April and May, growth is evaluated at 80% and, respectively 40 % with regard to the last year. It is however necessary to remind that at that time, the economic situation was particularly disappointing.

Moreover, Pentalog High Tech notes that orders coming from clients are diminishing. Under these conditions, it is extremely risky to venture in an annual prognosis, even if results are satisfactory till now. 
Therefore, our company keeps its annual objective of 20 % growth to a constant perimeter.

Pentalog HighTech adventure in the freeware applications servers' world had begun in 2001 by the conclusion of a fix costs contract: 170 000 Euro for services and 20 000 E applications servers licensees. Only applications server are able to manage 20 simultaneous users, realising important treatments.
Choosing a free software was the unique solution facing the extravagant costs imposed by the servers' market. That's way Pentalog High tech had decided to follow a two complementary strategies : heavy tools as BEA and IBM for high level transactions servers and free tools for less demanding services.

Six of our clients ( 2 from Ile de Frence Region and 4 from Center Region) had chosen in 4 months a Tomcat platform based on web Apache or IIS (Microsoft) servers. Moreover, one of the hosting platforms of Pentalog High Tech has been already endowed with this structure.

We draw your attention that Tomcat is able to function as well on Linux (Appache) as on Windows (IIS Appache). Many companies and institutions made from it a key component of their core platforms.
