French Offshore Leader, European small business and civic commitment.
After having being awarded as the leader of the French speaking offshore services, we established a collaboration with a Company in the Netherlands. Pentalog High Tech made its first deal in Russia thanks to Chisinau office.
We are now looking for local partners in France, Germany and Italy. This European positioning makes our projects more motivating.
Pentalog opens third offshore office, within the dollar zone.
In April 2003 Frédéric Lasnier (Chairman and CEO) and Eric Gouin (vice-chairman) went to the Republic of Moldova for the first time.

After three years in Romania, this trip was the next step towards Pentalog’s business and cultural oriented prospect for news French-speaking software creation capacities.
During this journey, Eric and Frédéric visited some companies, universities and met students.
In May 2003, the two first Moldovan trainees joined the company. One went to Orleans and the other to Brasov. One year later, two other French-speaking trainees started their work placement with Pentalog. All of them are now Pentalog Romania staff members.
This led to build a new offshore office in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.
Eight engineers will start working there in April. The objective is to have a 30 personn staff within two years.
Its four main targets:
Develop Pentalog’s offshore solutions and offer the group’s lowest cost.
Provide a production alternative in the dollar zone.
Implement the European offshore standard thanks to Russian.
Increase the offshore production capacities.
This came after a two year study. Other cities such as Kiev in Ukraine and Ho chi Minh in Vietnam were also considered as potential sites.
Pentalog High Tech's solutions become unique: two French agencies (Orleans and Bordeaux, representing 25 employees) and three agencies abroad. Pentalog is now one leader in French-speaking IT offshore services.
Orleans, Bucharest and Bordeaux can both domestic demand and nearshore needs.
Brasov and Chisinau are dedicated to offshore. They will remain competitive for a long time. Pentalog’s offshore/nearshore capacity is now based on 40 people (60 overall). The Company's total staff will be 80 in a few months.
After Brasov (300 000 inhabitants close to the Carpathians), Pentalog opens another office in Bucharest (the Romanian capital - 3 000 000 inhabitants).
An auxiliary of the first unit offshore, this office has five key objectives:
To provide techical solutions and services for the Romanian market,
To increase the production capacity of the offshore projects,
To have at its disposal a reception office close to the airport, for the spot projects or for the ones that require the client's presence,
To have at its disposal an equipped center with multiple and redundant providers for long-distance services, including a high-degree availability (tele-administration, tele-infomanagement, tele-production...),
To provide a pole of functional expertise, both internal and in partnership.
To sum up, Pentalog High Tech has now three French agencies, two cost axis and two infrastructure axis, in order to offer its clients the most suitable solutions for their needs.
Let us recall that in 2004 Pentalog High Tech will double its Romanian turnover, which will represent 30% of the Group global turnover.

Client: Marvic Production - Sourcing and production follow up in French-Romanian clothing
Marvic is improving relationship with its clients. In this purpose, it integrates an intranet/extranet tool managing orders between the French clients and Romanian production factories.
Its team integrates clients' data (pending orders, pending invoices, incidents) in an intranet site, which can be consulted by clients via Extranet.
