The newly created Pentalog branch in Kiev started operating on 12 May. Monica Jiman, the group's sales manager for Eastern Europe will be in charge of business development in this country as well, whereas Serghei Goloborodico, another experienced Pentalog team member will be responsible for management control. At first the Kiev office will be dedicated to the support of Western Euroean investors' operations in this region, in particular in the financial area.
Pentalog's Eastern European IT experts in banking (15 consultants) now work in three countries (Romania, Moldova, Ukraine) for two of the biggest European banks.
For now Pentalog Ukraine will not be part of the group's offshore service range, since another Romanian office was recently created in Iasi for those purposes.
Pentalog now employs 230 persons, among which 200 in Eastern Europe.
