Pentalog goes into partnership with a merchant bank specialized in the IT field

The Pentalog group has just bought into Invelia, a customer-oriented merchant bank founded and managed by Benjamin Cernès, a young and talented entrepreneur who has gained a multidisciplinary expertise in the world of finance and published a book on fund raising in 2007.

Invelia is a pure player which aims at offering consulting services to the shareholders and management of medium-sized companies to support them in their external growth, fund raising or transfer operations. Through this partnership with the Pentalog group, Invelia distinguishes itself by bringing together its track record and know-how in the fields of management, finance and strategy, with a specialization in information technologies.

This partner was particularly interested in the concept of a virtualized IT company, such as it is practiced by Pentalog. This is what triggered the plan of becoming the first virtualized merchant bank. The fund-raising potential of this specialist, associated to that of Pentalabbs, Pentalog's business incubator, amounts to almost 20 million euros over the following 12 months. Pentalabbs supports Invelia's development by contributing an industrialization platform and a digital strategy. On the other hand, Invelia can also provide consulting services for fund-raising and merger-acquisition operations in order to finance other projects and partners incubated by Pentalabbs.

Invelia About Invelia
Created in 2007 by Benjamin Cernès, a financial engineering specialist who graduated from the London School of Economics, Invelia is a consulting company in the field of mergers and acquisitions, whose objective is to bring together strategy and finance in the management of customized financial operations. Until now, Invelia has assisted ten companies by providing them with consulting services on complex operations, be they classical (fund raising, transfers) or original (reduction of capital, economic interest group). Its services are mainly aimed at medium-sized players which are strongly orientated towards the IT sector.
