Pentalog DELIVERY CENTERS AND THEIR organization
According to our business model, the delivery center manager is the privileged hierarchical interlocutor in the relationship with the employees, the decision-making authority as well as the person who offers sound advice and support to all employees regardless of the situation. The delivery center managers are associates of the group and they are always available to all those who would like to meet them, constructive dialogues being always encouraged.
We want our team members to know each other and interact efficiently within every delivery center. This is why Pentalog delivery centers generally have, according to the specificity of each city, between 100 and 150 employees (not including the administrative support). It is a voluntary limitation with a view to maintaining balanced interpersonal relationships within each delivery center. Beyond this number, there is a need to create additional levels between management and employees which would inevitably lead to a complex situation which is difficult to manage. Or, at Pentalog, we want things to be easy, communication should be open, transparency and stability are values that we highly appreciate.

Organization of pentalog Projects
As Pentalog mainly operates on the outsourcing market, our teams are structured so as to meet the needs and constraints specific to each project.
Project managers are responsible for the quality of the products and services provided to the client and for compliance with the set deadlines and budgets while team leaders have a coaching role for all team members with regard to technical issues, supplying the code reviews and monitoring the technical indicators related to the project.
Project directors ensure the compliance with the contractual commitments related to the client and the quality assurance system for all the projects. A project director can get involved in 5-10 projects at the same time depending on the team size in view of reducing the number of "administrative" activities assigned to the project manager, identifying the good practices and applying them to various projects.

Quality and organization
We decided to standardize our working procedures in 2008 when we obtained the ISO9001 certification. The certified activities do not concern only the development of IT projects but also all the company's activities (marketing, commercial, management, infrastructure etc.).
Our client recommendation rate amounts to 95%, which is an important way to advertise the company to prospective clients. However, there are many companies we start collaborating with on projects of 3-5 people which decide to increase the scope and amount of services entrusted to Pentalog shortly after having tested our methodologies and procedures.
Personal development and training programs
Since 2007, the Pentalog Evolution Program department has managed the employees' continuous training process. Thus, we build together a career plan whether you are a developer, a tester or a project manager.
We are fully aware that a company's value is given by its employees' skills, a truism which is all the more important for an IT company. With this aim in view, a certain number of training days is provided for every employee on a yearly basis.
The training needs can be identified when changing the project, during the employee assessment interview, upon the line manager's recommendation or simply on the employee's request. Depending on the specificity of each demand, there are self-training sessions, training sessions with an in-house trainer or training sessions with an external trainer.
The continuous training also includes knowledge sharing sessions which are organized under the form of IT Camps.
The Pentalog management understand these training needs of the employees and every request is dealt with individually.

For instance, to celebrate 10 years of Pentalog in Romania and 5 years in the Republic of Moldova, we organized PentaStock, an event which gathered over 300 employees. The Recruitement Process
If you are a student, you have no work experience and you are looking for an internship within Pentalog, send us your CV. You will be contacted by a People Centric representative - the recruitment agency that Pentalog closely collaborates with. Then, you will be asked to take several online tests and, depending on the test results, you will be invited to a technical interview and a discussion with the delivery center manager to find out more about the internship.
The technical validation can take place over the phone and the order of these steps can change as the case may be. Following these interviews, you will receive an answer within 2 weeks, whether positive or negative. You will also be informed in case that the hiring decision is influenced by external factors and it may take more than 2 weeks.
There are also situations when we can agree to have an informal discussion to get to know each other and set up the basis for a future long or mid-term collaboration.
