ADFABER.org is a nonprofit organization which promotes technology in fields in which it can have a great and positive impact. Education is one of the most important areas in which the organization is involved, along with health and environment.
I was responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for all the projects of the organisation in order to attract potential customers or sponsors and retain existing ones.
I've worked for  the following projects - Hour of Code, Kids in Tech, Technovation Challenge, Code School - and organised the Startup Grind monthly event for entrepreneurs and the special JAVA Competitions for schools, high schools and Universities (Learn to code with Alice, Java Competition - Code with Greenfoot and Java Competition for Universities).

Program Manager - ADFABER Competitions

I've organised and manage 3 national competitions for students  - Learn to code with Alice, Java Competition - Code with Greenfoot and Java Competition for Universities (all sponsored by Oracle Academy).  My tasks were:
* to launch the competitions (make a website,  an official regulation);
* to involve the endorsers (Educational inspectors and teachers);
*  to promote the competitions using Social Media Platforms  (implement a strategy, make a visual poster, Facebook posts, Instagram Posts, Facebook and Google Ads);
* community management and support (newsletters and answering the online chat messages);
* coordinate a team of volunteers who evaluated the registered projects;
* post-event media
Main challenges:
Decide on suitable strategies and objectives;
Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities;
Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI;
Prepare reports for program sponsors.

Social Media Manager - Code School

Code School is a private programming club for kids, a social entrepreneurship project managed by the ADFABER NGO. My work involved:
* to make a full  Wordpress Website (structure + content) for the project: codeschool.adfaber.org;
* to make and implement a full Social Media strategy with specific goals;
* to manage the Social Media accounts of the project (Facebook and Instagram)
* to implement paid advertising campaigns using Facebook Ads and Google Ads;
* implement the marketing strategy  - articles + SEO, newsletters, visuals.
