My role at Conosco covers the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions. This includes the design, lead, automation and implementation of large-scale digital transformation solutions using Office 365 and other cloud solutions. The role further extends to technical Management of Conosco’s customers and the creation of Technology roadmaps, as well as the completion of IT Audits to identify key weakness or new opportunities on client IT infrastructure. I work closely with a geographically split team (with presence in both the UK and South Africa) to deliver innovative and fitting solutions, operating within an effective service-transition methodology to ensure the migration to BAU/support of all implemented cloud-based projects & solutions.

In returning to Joskos I took on a broad and varied role, incorporating 4th Line Technical Support Escalation, Technical Account Management for Trusts and Key Clients, Pre-Sales Technical Advice and Consultancy, and Technical Bid Management and Solution Design. My duties included Partner and Supply Chain Relationship Management, Documentation and Change Control Management, Internal Network Management and Development, Evaluation and testing of new technologies, Technical Business Strategy development, and Training and mentoring of Technical staff.

During my time at Joskos I advanced rapidly through the ranks, beginning as a Junior Technician and quickly becoming Technical Manager as the company and my skillset grew and developed. My role was primarily focused on the design, building, and testing of our client Dell & Compaq/HP Servers while overseeing the deployment and ongoing development of each network. I also spent a great deal of time liaising with each of our clients in a Presales Consultancy capacity to better understand their needs and aligning our sales and service teams to better meeting these.

Buckley Technical Services gave me exposure to the corporate and educational sectors. I served as one of the company’s many Field Engineers, visiting client sites across the capital. My duties included hardware/software support and refurbishment as well as first and second line support for clients as well as network deployments and system upgrades.
