I delivered strategic and actionable recommendations to the C-suite of multinational companies (MNCs) through fact-based research, deep analysis and forward-thinking insights.

My responsibilities included:

●        Planning and reviewing the overall digital transformation strategies of MNCs and the positioning and messaging of technology companies addressing those MNCs.
●        Helping C-level executives in large enterprises implement their innovation programmes, portfolio strategy, business models, operating models, organisational design and go-to-market strategy.
●        Developing and sharing thought leadership content on market trends, customer behaviours, competitive dynamics and product innovation.
●        Establishing, nurturing and growing client relationships within specific client portfolios and across new opportunities in multinational accounts.
●        Directing, coaching and managing a team of analysts and researchers on business strategy projects.

Key Project Deliverables:

●        Repositioned Workplace by Facebook as a collaboration tool for employees and helped Facebook refocus its enterprise go-to-market strategy.
●        Reviewed and revamped Google’s value proposition to enterprises in the area of cloud computing, AI and digital collaboration.
●        Guided enterprises such as McKinsey, Barclays Bank, General Motors, Marks and Spencer and Liberty Mutual in selecting the optimal tools for their digital workplace initiatives (including contract negotiations).
●        Helped innovative start-ups such as Twilio and Slack grow their market share in MNCs by adapting their go-to-market strategy, through diversifying their channel mix and expanding their partner ecosystem.
●        Re-architected Orange’s product portfolio strategy to drive 40% of its revenue from growth areas such as cloud, AI, IoT and cybersecurity.
●        Built a blueprint for Vodafone to accelerate its cycle time to
design and develop new products from 6 months to 8 weeks. Co-authored the creative brief for the “Vodafone Business” brand relaunch.
●        Advised BT Global Services on its organisational restructuring to prioritise three product lines and three industry verticals.

I was responsible for the overall marketing strategy and the operational management of the marketing programme.
Key deliverables included:    • The marketing campaign for the Vodafone 360 smartphone in the UK.
    • The launch of four mobile platform releases, including developer kits.
    • Branding of platform releases using the names of elements in the periodic table.
    • Quadrupling the number of registered developers and doubling the number of active developers in 2 years.
    • Retaining 90% of ecosystem partners and increasing new partner acquisition by 40% in 2 years.
    • Recruiting, coaching and managing a team of 30 people.
