Developing a general theoretical frame for the study of deformable structures in large rotations with the gyroscopic effect. This applies to new emerging problems like dimensioning floating wind turbines and challenging their manufacturers by comparing theoretical and experimental results.
My work has been validated by A.Cardona, a prominent researcher in the field.
Main ideas: Interpolation of rotations, how to parametrize rotations(rotation vector, quaternions, …), correcting finite element method to take into account big rotations which gives birth to gyroscopic terms.

Prediction of missing values and outliers detection using a robust pca based method.
Main ideas: Using RPCA, a method that applies classically to images, on time series data, the method is well adapted for at the same time making predictions and detecting abberant values in the data (hence robustness).
