• Develop customer portfolio by identifying potential customers and selling IT solutions efficiently; • Generate new opportunities by maintaining lasting quality relationships with current customers and business partners; • Continuous innovation of the sales process through the implementation of new ideas; • Continuous search for the IT solutions market: consumers, competition, trends; • Identify the client's needs correctly, and develop personalized IT solutions based on company's specifics; • Development of the design for IT solutions in collaboration with the technical department; • Presentation of IT solutions and negotiation of collaboration proposals; • Close contracts in a professional manner, in line with the company's business indicators; • Coordination of the resources involved in the implementation of IT solutions, by interfacing the connection between the client and the technical team; • Interdepartmental communication and cooperation, in order to fulfill the commercial indicators and to improve the satisfaction of the clients; • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
Main duties and responsibilities of this position: • Confirm clarity of instructions prior to initiating project workflow, liaising with Account Executive to modify / correct project instructions / parameters as needed • Coordinate with Account Executives to educate / advise clients regarding the best way to accomplish their goals for individual projects • Negotiate rates and deadlines with contract linguists in order to maximise profitability and project completion speed • Use Computer Assisted Translation tools whenever possible to maximise consistency and profitability • Effectively liaise with other departments that are essential parts of project workflow (Quality Managers, Desktop Publishing, etc.) • Perform a Final Eye quality check and issue a Quality Score for the Quality Department prior to sending a job out • Bill projects completely and accurately within 24 hours of project completion, complying with all appropriate regulations and processes • File Corrective Action Forms as needed for substandard work performed and work with QA to impose appropriate financial sanctions in those cases • Investigate / resolve client complaints, problem solve and work with QA / Management to ensure that appropriate systemic changes are implemented to ensure that any problems that occurred cannot be repeated
Additional duties: • Execute more complex projects and develop an expertise within the field • Perform special projects as needed for continued advancement within the department including, but not limited to: vendor management, specialisation training, technology, profitability and productivity plans.
Developing skills: • Coordinating with internal departments (DTP/Engineering/Formatting/CAT developer/Sales) • Managing internal and external resources • Meeting and exceeding clients' expectations • Ensuring timeliness and quality are met • Developing client specific production guidelines and compliance processes
