My role in EOD: I was responsible to analyse blockers to flash roll out to individual trading heads, working as a liaison between Trading and various Technology teams to problem solve and define solutions to technology and operational problems.
My role and achievements in Brexit Programme: Single point of contact for all Front office and Middle Office system and associated Operating Model changes. • Organized 80+ resources into a change delivery structure, ~3.5 m GBP investment spend, led end to end delivery • Played multiple roles - business analysis, project management, quality assurance (design and requirement) , Op Model Design. I cut across asset class specific verticals and designed Brexit Implementation Technology Strategy as the ‘Brexit Product Owner’ while balancing the plan with the Transformation Technology Strategy. • Successfully delivered all change into production, including stakeholder and end user workshops, across 10+ apps for the stand-up of NatWest Markets N.V. per the agreed Business Operating Model. • Ensured all heads of trading desk were aware of and understood the changes due to this implementation and was the first point of contact post implementation in collaboration with standard production management teams. • Identified and managed risks in the Business Operating Model in collaboration with the Business Design, Technology, Compliance and Operations stakeholders. • Key stakeholder in incident management calls, signing off on production patch releases and taking on the risk. • Successfully migrated customer business from NatWest Markets Plc. to NatWest Markets N.V – no customer impact.

My role and achievements in ICB: • Responsible for execution of implementation plan for NatWest Markets Fixed Income Business to be compliant with the UK’s ICB Ring-Fencing Regulation – including rename of ‘The Royal Bank Of Scotland Plc’ to ‘NatWest Markets Plc’. • Key stakeholder in incident management calls, signing off on production patch releases and taking on the risk. • Planned and managed execution of 2 customer migrations (FSMA scheme), legal entity rename changes, and NatWest Bank stand up with no customer impact (including 5 Dress Rehearsals). 10+ Apps, ~ 1m GBP spend, organized ~ 50+ resources for delivery. My role and achievements in C&M: • Designed the customer migration plan and runbook from ‘Algo’ to ‘Calypso’ – critical to meet regulatory compliance (EMIR, Dodd Frank and JFSA Margin Rules). The runbook was developed in incremental prototypes with feedback from key functions. • Facilitated sign off workshops for Directors and VPs across Technology, Operations, Compliance, Audit and Trading. • Executed 2 Front to Back migrations – 15+ apps, 30+ people with no customer impact. Business Analyst, Collateral and Margin (Nov 2016 - Apr 2017). Business Analyst across the Collateral estate - front office, collateral valuation operations, finance, risk and reporting systems.
As a Business Analyst in Strategic Transaction Reporting, I am responsible for requirements gathering and overseeing implementation for migrating Dodd Frank and EMIR Regulatory Reporting onto our Strategic Platform - including referencing requirements to regulatory text for traceability, user workshops and training and front to back reporting estate documentation.
My role and achievements in T&TR: • Led the migration of the existing reporting solution (in house) on to a new, consolidated X-Asset solution aligned with the Transformation Strategy. • Successfully delivered the new system with target workshops for senior management, compliance, user and technology support functions.
In my current role, I am responsible for designing implementation plans for new workflows for our in house OTC derivatives paper confirmation system. I am also responsible for the server side components - performance, code coverage and ensuring any new development adheres to the architecture, mentoring new hires to help them get up to speed on the application, besides day to day software development.
About my role: • Started in confirmations re-engineering team as a software developer and progressed to be a server side dev lead, running a team of 9 developers • Service based architecture, queue/topic based communication, drools rules and spring integration based server side
In my current role, I am responsible for the server side components for our in house OTC Derivatives paper confirmation medium. That entails development, and designing how a particular flow should be implemented. I also ran workshops with users for our phase 2 and 3 to elicit requirements, and
then worked with the architect to design it out. As a Software Engineer on a Graduate Scheme, I develop software in collaboration with the team that help the investment banking arm to function effectively.
