Airbus Defence and Space - IntelligenceApril 2018 - Present
- Support SIE project as subject matter expert for network related technologies. - Delivered technical solution, documentation and scripts for network zero touch provisioning. Scripts have been developed using bash and TCL. Later they have been integrated in the global automation tool (Hardware Initialization Tool) using Powershell. - Took over the automatic network elements configuration generation process. - Redesigned the process in order to have more control over the automation process. Developed scripts in python using jinja2 templates. Task automation has been done using Ansible. - Tested and improved the automated process for network elements hardware initialization using a reference platform inside the testing laboratory. - Provided training on using the automated tool for other engineers.
- Work closely with the software architect in researching and developing networking related technologies - Develop test plans and verify the implementations of software modules and networking protocols, standards compliance, performance benchmarks and scaling to meet the product requirements - Perform scripting and write test plans and test cases that would validate the products under test - Develop and modify automated tests to improve QA efficiency and problem reproducibility as required. - Assist with security advisement on new projects, applications, technologies being considered and implemented
Research areas including but not limited to: Haka security, Suricata IDS, Tor deanonymization
Projects: - create a virtual Tor network for research purposes and automate process of extracting specific packet captures and interpreting tor cells, circuits and data streams in a nice way - create a virtualized environment for real-life malware infection cases and automate processes like spawning, deleting VMs, managing snapshots, software installation inside guest OS, infection of victim machines, log collection, packet captures etc - create a containerized solution for honeypots using GRE tunnels
