About the project

A top travel-based website with a large database is looking for a Data Engineer to help modernize its user-generated platform, visited by more than 460 million travelers each month.

Join an Agile team and become part of the full development process: from design to code, to testing, deployment and back again for further iteration. You will be working according to a flexible working schedule, with mandatory daily standups.
 

Job requirements

  • Relevant experience as a Data Engineer; 
  • Experience in building data storage solutions with SQL Server and Data Lakes;
  • Experience in developing ETL Pipelines with the help of Azure Data Factory;
  • Intermediate or above knowledge of T-SQL;
  • Previous experience working with SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI;
  • Experience with Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, ADLS, Blob Storage, ADF, Azure Stream Analytics;
  • Previous experience in working with a remote development team;
  • Hard worker, self-starter, independent, with an ability and desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment; 
  • Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High quality verbal and written communication skills in English.
