Job requirements

  • 7+ years of web development or software engineering experience;
  • 3+ years of production experience with Magento e-commerce sites;
  • Experience with Agile methodologies;
  • Proficient in PHP and JavaScript, with hands-on experience developing and customising Adobe Commerce/ Magento applications;
  • Experience working with JavaScript frameworks (but not reliant on them to build innovative solutions);
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and JSON;
  • Proven experience of connecting front-end clients to back-end web services and databases;
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles;
  • Adobe Commerce Expert Developer certification (AD0-E716/AD0-E709/AD0-E720);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
     

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and implementation of B2B and B2C web application projects using Magento and Adobe Commerce;
  • Work with other developers and designers to build applications in line with product roadmaps and customer requirements;
  • Develop and test Magento modules, themes and extensions;
  • Review and troubleshoot integration issues;
  • Install and update security patches;
  • Optimise site load time and performance;
  • Customise site extensions and test their functionality.
