Our client, a renowned toy manufacturer and seller, is finding himself in a website digitization process. For that purpose, the company has reached out to Pentalog, to help find a Full Stack Developer with Java and Angular know-how, to help achieve their vision: a B2B platform based on an SAP ERP system.

This German company with extensive experience in toy manufacturing, offers a wide selection of wooden and textile products, such as toys, home furnishings and children’s accessories.

The main purpose of this project is to create a platform that could encompass all the B2B and B2G activities that will help create high-quality products in the core areas of family life, games, education, movement, clothing and furniture. The platform should be able to offer functions and characteristics for each of the company’s activities. Having an aspect that would indicate that the company is ready for release on the international market, the platform should also be able to offer support to the internal B2B departments of the company, in a way that improves and provides automation for the internal B2B processes. 

Technologies used: Hybris, Angular on Spartacus Library, integration with ERP SAP

Tools: Contentful, Algolia, Dynamic Yield, (SAP) Spartacus, GitHub

Programming languages: Java 11, Spring, JavaScript, Angular

Frameworks: SAP Commerce, Spring, Mockito

Testing tools:  Allure TestOps
 

Job requirements

  • Proven experience as a full stack developer (5+ years);
  • Java and Spring, as well as Angular skills are a must-have (ideally, an equal amount of experience with these programming languages);
  • JavaScript know-how;
  • Experience working with Unit tests;
  • Good SAP knowledge;
  • A good combination of rigor, creativity and team-player attitude;
  • Good communication and English language skills.
