As a Specialist in IT security and governance, specializing in Microsoft 365, your main responsibility will be to lead the effort in establishing consistent IT principles and security governance throughout the expanded network. 

This position requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365's administrative capabilities, as well as expertise in IT management principles. Your leadership will be crucial in promoting the adoption of unified IT practices such as multi-factor authentication, MDM, data loss prevention, and disaster recovery planning. It is important to ensure that each company within the larger group framework maintains its autonomy while adhering to these practices.
 

Job requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing IT operations, particularly in Microsoft 365 environments;
  • Skills in managing user identities, groups, and licenses, with an understanding of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for authentication and authorization;
  • Proficient in developing and implementing user authentication strategies within the Microsoft 365 environment;
  • Knowledge and experience in ensuring data encryption measures are in place to protect sensitive information within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem;
  • Familiarity with endpoint antivirus strategies and solutions for both Windows and macOS platforms;
  • Experience in developing and implementing endpoint detection and response strategies to detect and respond to security incidents;
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing data leakage detection and prevention strategies to safeguard confidential data; 
  • Strong understanding of Patch Management strategies and policy definition to ensure systems are up to date and secure;
  • Experience in developing backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and business continuity;
  • Expertise in Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and strategies to manage and secure mobile devices within the organization, data protection, and best practices in IT governance;
  • Extensive experience in change management and effectively engaging stakeholders;
  • Profound knowledge of Corporate Compliance, enabling the implementation of its principles within intricate organizational structures;
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365 Services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and their integration with other Microsoft products.;
  • Knowledge of security measures such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and compliance features within Microsoft 365;
  • Knowledge and experience in developing phishing protection strategies to mitigate the risk of phishing attacks;
  • Proficiency in managing both Windows and macOS environments, including experience with their respective security measures and best practices;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, emphasizing collaboration within teams and efficient project management.
     

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultancy and advisory services on IT management topics, with a particular focus on setting up and configuring Microsoft 365;
  • Develop, negotiate, and implement advanced IT security strategies focused on user authentication, phishing protection, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) systems using Microsoft 365;
  • Adopt and deploy various IT solutions, such as Mobile Device Management (MDM), backup and recovery systems, etc. This includes defining expectations, creating benchmarks, estimating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), negotiating with suppliers, aligning stakeholders, and sourcing expertise when needed;
  • Enhance IT stewardship by implementing secure and efficient operations across various platforms through MDM, endpoint management, antivirus, and centralized log management;
  • Take the lead in deploying endpoint detection and response tools, antivirus software, and centralized log management systems;
  • Drive patch management, backup and recovery solutions, and data loss prevention strategies, ensuring data classification and encryption;
  • Design and execute business continuity and disaster recovery plans in line with organizational objectives;
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and decision-making processes to effectively select and implement IT solutions;
  • Provide training and guidance on document management requirements and systems.
