Pentalog has a great partnership with a New York AI company serving creators worldwide. The company's tech team builds tools that are used by operational teams (such as content, growth hackers, etc.) to identify the most promising creators, help them create content, monitor video performance, etc., by injecting each of these products with a significant dose of algorithms, statistics and machine/deep learning.

As an IT Support Specialist, your key obligation is to offer technical assistance and support to end-users across the organization. You will play a major role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's IT systems and resolving any technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
 

Job requirements

  • Proficiency in using operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and SaaS environments;
  • Previous experience using tools such as Okta, Google Workspace and Slack;
  • Familiarity with an IT Helpdesk Ticketing system;
  • Strong analytical abilities and a talent for thriving in high-pressure work environments;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, such as computer science or information technology, or corresponding work experience, is required;
  • Fluent English skills.
     

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support to end users (employees or customers) experiencing technical problems via various communication channels: ticketing/slack/email/face-to-face;
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, determine the root cause of problems and implement appropriate solutions. This includes investigating network connectivity issues, software errors, access and permission issues, and hardware malfunctions;
  • Assist in the installation, setup and upkeep of computers, printers and other peripheral equipment. Install necessary software applications and ensure all are up-to-date;
  • Create, amend and deactivate user accounts. Manage access rights and security settings to ensure data integrity and confidentiality;
  • Keep precise logs of technical problems, solutions and service appeals;
  • Elaborate and revise documentation for resolving issues, frequently asked questions and knowledge base articles;
  • Provide remote support to users who are operating from various locations, in English;
  • Monitor the inventory the IT equipment, order new equipment as necessary, and maintain records of assets.
