About the project

We are looking for an Operational Security Specialist with knowledge of basic principles and of the types of tools necessary to secure an information system.


In this role, you will become part of the operational security department, containing 7 people, hierarchically attached to the operational security pilot, under the responsibility of Pentalog’s CISO. With the objective of activity development for this service in mind, you will take charge of various technical subjects for both external and internal customers.

Job requirements

  • Experience with Azure cloud environments and their products;
  • Previous work with various containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes);
  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS) and their products;
  • Previous experience in using and configuring various security tools: SAST, DAST, etc.;
  • Understanding of common security attacks (DNS cache poisoning, ARP spoofing, DDoS, XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, etc.);
  • Knowledge of well-known security best practices (OWASP methodologies, SANS, etc.);
  • Conceptual knowledge on different areas of computer security (network, application, cryptography, forensics, incident response, etc.);
  • A creative mentality in recognizing various security needs;
  • Willingness to learn and continually develop skills inside the team;
  • Very good level of English.

Responsibilities

In the role of Operational Security Specialist you will need to ensure the security of Pentalog Group's and Pentalog’s customer, applications and infrastructure. As such you will:

 

  • Put in place/take part in the implementation of the necessary safety devices, in accordance with the CISO directives;
  • Provide security support to other Group entities;
  • Manage day-to-day security operations such as security event monitoring, log monitoring and security incident management, compliance monitoring, providing security-by-design to internal/external clients etc.;
  • Develop and maintain various security related tools, automations, and integrations;
  • Work with our internal teams to ensure consistent delivery of service;
  • Continuously tune and improve documentation of policies and procedures.

Extra skills

Experience with AWS cloud environments and their products;
Basic programming and scripting skills;
Basic experience doing pentests, vulnerability assessments and forensics;
Professional security certifications would be a plus.
