About the project

How we hire:
At Pentalog, excellence is what you'll do. We're guided by a mission to positively impact the software development world.

Pentalog is looking for a Site Operations Engineer to work on a project developed for our client, the largest US-based website offering travel experiences to people around the world.

As an Operations Engineer on the SiteOps team, you will be a force multiplier for the Engineering & Operations teams, providing tools and infrastructure that not only have a direct impact on day-to-day operations, but also contribute to the future development of infrastructure and engineering. You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the high availability, reliability and scalability of services.

We are looking for passionate engineers with experience in Python, Java, Ansible, PostgreSQL, CentOS and Alma Linux to help optimise and automate infrastructure and deployment processes. Our client is currently involved in various types of system migrations, both on-prem to AWS/cloud-native migrations and on-prem to alternate on-prem data centre migrations. As a SiteOps Engineer, you will be involved in designing, implementing, testing and then executing these migrations with a "no surprises in production" mindset.
