As part of their company’s strong growth, our client is looking for a QA Engineer to join their Application Delivery team. In this role, you will oversee the quality management and testing process of the company’s solution.

The company is an outsourcing provider of customer experience management. This customer experience specialist empowers brands to build stronger relationships with their customers by creating meaningful connections that boost brand value. Their product is a Customer Engagement Management (CEM) platform that delivers real operational efficiency and an optimized customer experience.

Your mission will be to help the client make their customers’ projects successful.

Driven by the Agile Scrum method, the team is organized in squads of 6-8 people featuring a Product Owner, a Lead Developer (acting as Scrum Master), Frontend & Backend Developers and QA Engineers. The DevOps Engineers and UI/UX Designers are dedicated to all squads.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Experience in software development.
  • Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written.
  • Hands-on experience with white box, black box testing and automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Autonomous, organized, rigorous, and proactive.
  • A taste for technologies and innovation.
  • Very good communication and English language skills.
     

Responsibilities

  • Report on quality risk on each project and play the role of production gate keeper.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
  • Communicate internally (e.g.: with developers, project managers) on the results of tests and
  • follow the fixes.
  • Ensure regular reporting to management.
  • Collaborate with other QA Engineers.
     

Extra skills

  • Experience in a SaaS editor and knowledge of customer services.
  • French language skills would come in handy (not mandatory).
