More on the project:

At Pentalog, we are looking for a SecOps Engineer who will ensure the security of Pentalog Group's applications and infrastructure. In this role, you will become part of the operational security department in charge of technical actions related to supporting the Group's security level.

As a SecOps Engineer, you will become part of the of the operational security service, hierarchically attached to the operational security team, under the responsibility of the group’s CSO.

Your objective will be to contribute to the activity of the operational security department, taking charge of the various technical subjects for internal customers.
 

Job requirements

  • Understanding of OWASP methodologies (vulnerabilities, controls);
  • Knowledge about well-known security best practices (OWASP methodologies, SANS, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, etc.);
  • Conceptual knowledge on different areas of computer security:
    • Security norms (GDPR, ISO27001);
    • Encryption concepts;
    • Threat modeling/risk assessments;
    • Vulnerability management;
    • Security hardening;
  • Knowledge about SSDL (Secure Software Development Lifecycle) practices;
  • Experience in using and configuring various security tools: SAST, DAST, etc.;
  • A creative mentality in recognizing various security needs;
  • Ability to clearly communicate proposed improvements to various stakeholders;
  • Experience in documenting technical concepts, proposing procedures and following established policies;
  • Experience analyzing pentest reports, doing vulnerability assessments and forensics (analyzing security incidents);
  • A strong desire to learn and continually develop skills inside the team;
  • Very good level of English.
     

Responsibilities

  • Put in place/take part in the implementation of the necessary safety devices, in accordance with the CSO directives;
  • Provide security support to other Group entities;
  • Develop and maintain various security related tools, automations, and integrations;
  • Work with our internal teams to ensure consistent delivery of service;
  • Continuously tune and improve documentation of policies and procedures.
     

Extra skills

  • Basic programming and scripting skills;
  • Experienced with Azure cloud environments and their products;
  • Professional security certifications (e.g. Security+, CASP, Pentest+ etc.).
