About the project

It's an exciting time for you to join the Pentalog team. Our platform is facing a constant & fast growth, due to our recent investment, and we are on a mission to bridge tech talent with the most innovative projects in the world.    


Right now, we are striving to make an impact in our communities through educational projects, social and environmental volunteerism, work-life balance, involvement in professional groups, sharing innovation tools with decision-makers.  
Our 30+ expert marketing department uses the Agile methodology as workflow, collaborating with the sales team for lead generation campaigns and the recruitment team for qualified B2C contacts. Now, we are all working 100% remotely - and so will you.  
 
What our awesome marketing team needs is a Social Media Champion to build on what’s currently in place and seek out for new opportunities & ways to tell our story externally. Your voice will be heard in all our community tech hubs from Mexico (Guadalajara), France (Orleans, Lyon, Paris), Romania (Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi), Moldova (Chisinau), Vietnam (Hanoi), USA (New York) & Poland (Warsaw).  

Job requirements

  • Native English speaker;
  • Good knowledge of working on the LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram platforms;
  • Good knowledge of how repurposing content works;
  • Marketing DNA;
  • Hands-on experience in managing, setting up and analyzing social media campaigns;
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills;
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, lead research and online customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategy together with the team in order to meet the business goals;
  • Own each subject like an entrepreneur;
  • Collaborate with the Content, SEO, Design, Events and Recruitment teams;
  • Initiate repurposing content ideas from one channel to another;
  • Activate your creative writing; 
  • Listen to the community;
     
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technology;
  • Query all the actions;
  • Use your sense of humor;
  • Analyze the performance of our actions;
  • Dare to care - we’re in this together!

Social Squad is the internal name of the social media team and we are always looking for ways to communicate our impact; as our Social Media Champion, we need you to do the same.

 

Extra skills

  • Knowledge of using and navigating on Reddit would be a plus;
  • Parlez-vous Francais? (after all, we're a French company)
