Our client, a leading global FinTech driven by the purpose of levelling the playing field for small businesses, is on the lookout for a Data Scientist with seniority. The company’s platform enables a global approach supported by local specifics.

The role requires hands-on experience with marketing measurement & experimentation (attribution, lift tests, geo tests; ideally MMM done properly). You will need to help, so that there is a faster ramp up, so it is important that you know how the marketing channels work.

Tech stack:

Python (pandas, sklearn, NumPy, XGBoost), SQL, and visualization libraries (e.g. Matplotlib, Seaborn)
 

Job requirements

  • A degree (ideally) in Statistics, Mathematics, Economy, Computer Science or similar fields;
  • 7+ years of experience in data science, specifically in Marketing (optimizing Marketing budget, MMM, attribution, bidding automation);
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models and algorithms (time series) end-to-end at scale;
  • Experience experimenting and measuring marketing strategies (set up A/B test, lift test or geo test and evaluate it);
  • Proven experience using Python and its scientific stack (pandas, sklearn, NumPy, stats models, XGBoost, Matplotlib, Seaborn);
  • Advance knowledge of SQL
  • Proven experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Snowflake, Airflow) and CI pipeline (GitHub Actions);
  • Good communication and visualisation skills that will help you work with non-technical stakeholders;
  • Embracing best practices and with a passion for clean, maintainable and testable code;
  • Statistics algorithms and time series know-how;
  • Experience when it comes to "industrialising" the processes, so they are repeatable;
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse collected data;
  • Define data processing;
  • Prepare and clean data;
  • Build ML models and algorithms for business insights, handle large data sets, and focus on predictions;
  • Take full ownership of end-to-end ML flow (supervised, unsupervised & timeseries).

  • Bayesian A/B testing;
  • A background in Engineering.
