  • Reviewing software requirements and interacting with the Product Owner to understand and clarify product and business requirements.
  • Working closely with the development teams and software developers on the new functionalities.
  • Working in an Agile environment.
  • Writing use cases, preparing test scenarios and test cases, based on specifications.
  • Executing test cases and prioritizing testing activities.
  • Analyzing test results, including impact on database.
  • Reporting bugs, providing the needed information to reproduce them.
  • Tracking and retesting defects.
  • Carrying out regression testing when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
  • Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting.
  • Once a week, offering support for the whole project, using the Intercom platform: understanding user’s needs/the root of the reported error, in order to assign the task to the right team (understanding the overall business context).
  • Using GIT commands to switch the branch, to view new modifications, to add the new version of the code.

Technical Roadmap: Learning theory and practical approaches of non-functional testing, basic programming notions, databases, working with versioning systems, API and general tools used in software testing.

Participation in a training program focused on the following theoretical and practical aspects:
  • Knowledge about databases: what databases are and how they communicates with an application, database interrogation/basic queries.
  • Introduction to programming: variables, data types, algorithms and logic structures.
  • Introduction to Web development with Sublime Text 3 (HTML / CSS / JS)
  • Tools: Test case management tools: TestRail and Redmine; Load and stress testing with JMeter.
  • Introduction to API: Postman.
