Founded in 2010, PickmeCab is a company specializing in passenger transport which makes available to its clients a vehicle with a driver. PickmeCab offers its non-stop services 7 days a week to both professionals (airport shuttles, company-client commuting, etc.) and natural persons.
By providing economic and environmentally-friendly services, this company located in Orléans has rapidly extended its business in the largest French urban areas, such as Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes or Toulouse.
Android application development
Following the development of its Magento eCommerce platform within the Pentalabbs business incubator, PickmeCab has further requested Pentalog to add new features to its existing applications and to quickly meet its growth needs.
Basically, our team had to add to the back office, and also to the Android application, the following developments:
Management and itinerary assignment to drivers (or affiliates)
Shuttle validation by drivers according to the tablet application
The website has been equally modified to develop the design and to integrate new widgets, especially to simplify a ticket booking and the use of airport shuttles. Moreover, these updates have made the application available to several French cities within the development process of the PickmeCab company.
Our Business Analyst has drawn the specifications according to the client’s requirements. Our Business Analyst has also drawn the acceptance tests, acting as our client’s representative for the development team.
