PentaBAR: The Human Side of Accessibility

Usually overlooked when building websites, accessibility often has to be enforced by laws and regulatory compliance. Thus leading to mixed feelings and an ambiguous understanding about it in the development community.

Most web developers are fearful of the day when they will be assigned to an accessibility bug. Our PentaBAR proposed to change this and make accessibility work rewarding and meaningful.

Accessibility is about people and should be addressed from the early stages of a project. With the help of his presentation, Alex Moldovan – JS Heroes Founder, wants to inspire individuals and teams to embrace accessibility as a daily practice, to investigate and discover accessibility issues before consultants and auditors step in.
