About Catalina Turlea

Catalina Turlea is the co-founder and CTO of nilo.health, a German start-up that helps businesses support their employees by providing mental services via a comprehensive well-being platform. The platform was launched in April 2020, and soon after, it raised €7.5 million in a seed funding round.

As CTO, Turlea is responsible for the complete technical infrastructure, including Back-end, DevOps, Front-end, and native Mobile apps. She enjoys building and scaling teams and technologies while also having a positive impact on people’s lives.

An experienced Software Engineer, technical leader, and mentor, Turlea has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (from Romania) and a Master’s Degree in Mobile Computing (from Austria).
