About Lucas Bedout

Lucas Bedout is an experienced technical leader, startup adviser, and founder. He was Spendesk’s Head of Engineering for five years, helping the fintech company become a unicorn by scaling the team and the technology.

In 2017, Bedout joined Spendesk to implement the technical direction and grow the team. He was involved in recruitment, product strategy, identifying problems, and ensuring deadlines are met. Being a people manager, part of his job was to set up engineers for success by mentoring and motivating them.

In March 2022, Bedout left Spendesk and focused on supporting startups and other companies on various projects, from restructuring to hypergrowth management, including technical challenges. He also has launched his own startup, Meterly.
