In summer of 2014, I participated in Lean Challenge, using lean techniques, along with three companions solved a problem in the asset register on the Siebel platform. We reduced rework, waiting times, improve accuracy, automate and standardize the registration process, this project impact in five areas, Sales, Transaction Execution, Genpact (prebooking), Booking and Leasing and Lending, reducing 1832 hours per year and protecting 80% of TF portfolio. This was achieved by implementing manuals, establishing roles and responsibilities, and developing an application called XIR XML Invoice Reader. From 28 July of 2014 up to present I have been in the area of IT as an intern,  giving continuity to the application developed while I was in Lean Challenge, XIR, with the support of my manager Carlos Suarez, I migrated the application from its original environment, desktop application to web application, following the standards of GE for developments, I also participated along with the staff of GE Capital at fair of simplification “Simplean” with two projects that directly affect the areas of Transaction Execution and Sales, automation of annex, and instruction letter, respectively, financial documents that are necessary to create contracts with customers, these projects will be added to XIR web as part of the functionality of the application.
