Appsquire Consulting Ltd. - Self-employedJanuary 2004 - August 2017

Basically I started this "web 2.0" software development work for hire consultancy in 2005, and ran that till 2011. In 2009 I put together a small game division to make mobile games. In 2011, we had our first major hit on IOS and Android and our focus shifted to making games rather than developing products for others. In 2013, our focus shifted again to a more balanced approach - we provide top notch mobile, web and tablet development services for clients, while still continuing to make games and supporting our existing range of mobile games and apps.

I handle project management, client relations, publishing, game production, user acquisition, product development and running the company.

My key responsibility was the installation, training and ongoing support for Timberline Software in a small construction firm. This included migration from coax to ethernet, Novell to Windows for Workgroups. Once Timberline was up and running smoothly, developed a custom report application in Access to enable executives to pull daily reports using ODBC from the Timberline database. This application also added some data features to reports that Timberline could not provide, and was in use for many years beyond my time. I also handled all company receivables and monthly bank reconciliations. Hate the smell of checks to this day.
