Java Developer for HP UCMDB Browser product.

HP UCMDB is a CMDB and discovery software product.
A configuration management database (CMDB) is a repository that acts as a data warehouse for information technology (IT) organizations. Discovery populates the repository with data automatically gathered from the data center.

HP UCMDB Browser is a standalone application (deployed in Tomcat) which connects with UCMDB through an API. It was built to separate the administration logic/UI from the regular user. It is consumer oriented, with a modern web UI, easy deployment and new functionalities.

I started working on the project from it's incipient state (1 year of development) and brought it to a enterprise ready solution used by the customers. The team currently counts 4 developers (with over 10 in some time periods).

Technologies/Platforms used: Spring, GWT, Sencha GXT, YFiles for html, Tomcat/Jetty, JasperReports, Ehcache, Maven, Git, Intellij Idea, Oracle, JUnit, Jenkins, CSS, SCRUM

In the last 4 months I switched to Java and Investigation Engineer for HP UCMDB and other CMS Suite products. Responsible for handling (investigation and possibly fixing) customer incidents.
Also implementing visual web tools to facilitate investigation/debugging.
