Through their flagship B2C app, YAS, they are offering white-label solutions to insurance companies who are looking for digital touchpoints with their customers. Having backing of almost 2 milion EUR from Deutsche Ruck, a prominent company in the German insurance space, the team is well positioned to dominate the digital health industry.

My responsibilities
* Leading product development for YAS, our customer-facing mobile app
* Managing a remote & in-house development team of 8 people
* Setting up new processes and tools to improve the end-to-end product development process
* Managing internal requests and aligning expectations across departments
* Oversaw a complete redesign of the YAS app

At Jobzy, we are building the go-to place for job seekers who value a low commute time.
The product has undergone various stages, starting off as an Axure prototype, which we used to validate certain features, then to a working prototype, a beta version (plenty of learning there) and finally to a fully functional and marketable product.

About the company
Nobel is a well established company on the international calling market. Having made a successful run in the calling cards space, it is now looking to expand into the remittance market by offering cheap and reliable transfers for US citizens.

My responsibilities
• Led product development for NobelApp, an international calling app
• Led a development team of 6 working in a Scrumban environment
• Performed competitive analysis and early-stage feature definition for a fintech product
• Led the first company-wide user testing sessions
• Owned features that reduced the implementation time for email marketing campaigns by 40%

FreelanceApril 2015 - May 2016

In this period, I created two mobile apps from scratch, managing the entire product development process, from initial scoping and estimation up to wireframing, coding both frontend and backend using a BaaS solution. I also managed the publishing process on the Google Play Store.

About the company
Waldo was an intelligent alarm system for urban cyclists comprised of a device mounted on the bike and a mobile app. It protected your bike from getting stolen and gave you piece of mind. We were part of a pre-accelerator - Innovation Labs from Bucharest, Romania - and a hardware accelerator, Buildit, based in Tartu, Estonia. We had a fully functional prototype, a final design, two mobile apps, a pre-orders campaign on our website and paying customers.

My responsibilities
• Led a self-funded hardware startup from idea to paying customers
