Our client is looking to grow the Product & Engineering team with a Application Support, who will help to revolutionize the renting experience for its customers worldwide. Your role will be critical in freeing up the engineers to focus on complex tasks, while you handle simpler fixes and FAQs. Job requirements

  • Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience as an Application Support;
  • Possess basic knowledge of SQL;
  • Utilize strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities;
  • Exhibit excellent organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Possess an excellent command of Agile/Scrum software delivery methodology;
  • Embrace change and lead others through it, while showing energy, creativity, curiosity, and confidence;
  • Work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and adapt communication style accordingly;
  • Generate a wealth of ideas, express them openly, and execute them willingly;
  • Maintain a positive attitude and perform well under pressure;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English. 
     

Responsibilities

  • Working with users to reproduce issues and capture necessary information for resolution;
  • Prioritising issues based on impact and reach;
  • Categorising and recording issues in Jira;
  • Escalating issues to developers when necessary;
  • Updating issue reporters on progress on long running issues;
  • Documenting common resolution steps for internal users;
  • Directing users to appropriate documentation for self-help;
  • Providing reports on number of issues, time to resolution, problem hotspots or others;
  • Working with product managers and tech leads to get larger issues into the backlog;
  • Resolving straightforward issues and fixing simple bugs;
  • Building tools to resolve common issues that are currently done manually.
     

Extra skills

  • CosmosDB Familiarity;
  • Proficiency in Sequel Ace;
  • Salesforce Experience;
  • Knowledge of Datadog.
